Sub-Divisional Level Committee discusses promotion of Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan in Chatroo

KISHTWAR, JANUARY 11: In a significant step towards realizing the goals of the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan, a Sub-Divisional Level Committee meeting was convened in the Meeting Hall Chhatroo.

The session, presided over by SDM, Shokat Hayat Mattoo, focused on the comprehensive implementation of the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan in the Tehsils of Chatroo and Inderwal.

The meeting addressed critical aspects of the initiative, emphasizing the importance of collaborative efforts to create Nasha Mukt Panchayats.

Participants discussed strategic measures, community engagement, and the role of local governance structures in ensuring the success of this anti-substance abuse campaign.

Shokat Hayat Mattoo, in his capacity as the presiding officer, urged all stakeholders to actively contribute to the campaign, emphasizing the societal impact and the need for a united front against substance abuse.

The meeting concluded with a commitment to fostering a drug-free environment in the identified Tehsils.

The meeting was attended by Nodal Officers DPO Kishtwar Sunil Bhutyal and Tehsildar Headquarter Chander Shakhar Sharma, Tehsildar Chatroo, Tehsildar Mughalmaidan, BDO Inderwal/Mughalmaidan, BMO Chatroo, Major 11 RR Chhatroo, ZEO Inderwal, TSWO, TSO, AEO Chatroo, I/C Hr. Secondary School Chatroo besides representatives of SHO Chhatroo and Degree College Chatroo.
