Sunil Prajapati asked Party Workers for Door-to-Door Campaigning

JAMMU August 18: Sunil Prajapati, President BJP OBC Morcha, and Member State Election Management Committee in a meeting of the BJP District Committee team Jammu highlighted the dedicated efforts of the Modi Government for ensuring Justice and welfare of people, preferably the OBC Community in J&K UT.  He emphasized the door-to-door campaign to make the people aware of the Welfare schemes launched for the poor people and the developments underattended in J&K by the Modi Govt after the abrogation of Article 370. The meeting was organized by Ashok Salgotra.

The other party leaders who were present in the meeting were Suresh Salgotra (Vice President), Ravi Mehra (Vice President), Rajesh Dogra (Mandal Vice President), Ram Lubhaya, Brij Verma, Yousuf Teli, Gopal Sanotra, Parveen Badyal, Rajesh Kumar, Gulshan Prajapati, Sudesh Kapoor, Rakesh Thakrey, Surinder Kumar, Hans Raj Bazigar, Subash Kumar, Suresh Bharti, Amit Luthra, Raj Kumar, Vikas Singh, Sham Prajapati, Suresh Dogra, Yugal Dogra, Ramesh Kumar,  Vicky Pandey, Ajay Kashyap and other workers.

Sunil Prajapati, on this occasion, threw light on the various projects undertaken by the Modi Govt including the construction of Roads, Overhead Bridges, Development of Railway Stations, and extension of railway tracks in the UT.  He also explained the various welfare schemes launched by the Modi Govt for the People such as Ayushman Bharat Arogya Yojna, Kishan Samman Nidi Yojna, Beti Bachao-Beti Padao, Ladli Beti, Ujjwala Yojana and PM Awas Yojana and Startup Mission for youths.

He also emphasized on the other welfare measures initiated by the Modi Govt for the communities that were neglected by the previous governments.

Prajapati also emphasized the Welfare scheme for the youth under the Startup mission, under which the OBC youths are being provided a 35% subsidy for Rural Areas and a 25% subsidy for Town Areas. Many Youths have taken benefit of this scheme. It is a golden opportunity for the OBC Youths to avail the benefit of the scheme under Startup Mission.

He emphasized that every party worker needs to show dedication and approach everyone through door-to-door campaigning to highlight all welfare schemes to everyone so as to make the party victorious in the coming Assembly Election.

Prajapati also emphasized that the OBC Community may also be approached to clarify that reservation has now been granted under the OBC category and provided 8% reservation, which was otherwise provided a mere 2% by the previous government. He also desired that the issue of reservation in Panchayats and Urban Local Bodies as well as Vishvakarma Yojna should also be discussed in the election campaigning.
