SVaNidhi se Samriddhi & Main Bhi Digital campaign Kick starts in Udhampur
UDHAMPUR, APRIL 7: Municipal Council Udhampur today kick started the SVaNidhi se Samriddhi and Main Bhi Digital campaign in the city, aimed at empowering eligible beneficiaries of flagship schemes through financial inclusion and digital literacy.
As part of the initiative, beneficiaries were sensitized and linked to eight major socio-economic welfare schemes of the Government of India. These included PM Suraksha Bima Yojana, PM Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana, PM Shram Yogi Maandhan Yojana, PM Jan Dhan Yojana, One Nation One Ration Card, PM Matru Vandana Yojana, Janani Suraksha Yojana etc.
The objective of the campaign was to ensure saturation of flagship government schemes, enabling holistic development.
During the campaign, officials from Municipal Council Udhampur and other departments interacted with beneficiaries, highlighting the benefits of digital payments, social security schemes and insurance coverage.
Speaking on the occasion, CEO Municipality Udhampur Rajinder Digra reiterated the commitment of the Council to extend the benefits of welfare schemes to every eligible citizen and ensure last-mile delivery of services.
The campaign will continue over the coming days with door-to-door outreach and on-ground awareness activities, ensuring that no beneficiary is left behind
