SVEEP awareness campaign sensitizes voters in rural, urban areas across Ramban

RAMBAN, SEPTEMBER 02: The District Election Cell Ramban, under the guidance of District Election Officer (DEO) Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary, continues its proactive efforts to maximize voter turnout in the upcoming Assembly Elections in the district.

As part of the ongoing SVEEP (Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation) campaign, the District SVEEP team, led by District Nodal Officer SVEEP, (CEO) Kulbir Singh, conducted a series of awareness activities today in the Chanderkote area.

The main attraction of the day was a rally involving students and a SVEEP Publicity Van that traversed the Chanderkote area, spreading awareness about the importance of voting. The team also visited Dhalwas on NH44, engaging with workers and encouraging them not to miss their chance to vote on September 18.

At Government Degree College Batote, the students were educated about the significance of casting their votes. They were also informed about the use of the c-Vigil mobile app, which allows citizens to report any electoral malpractices, and the ‘Home Polling’ initiative designed to assist those unable to visit polling stations in person.

Meanwhile, awareness programs were organized at JP Gate Chanderkote and the local marketplace. These sessions saw the participation of a large number of voters, teachers, Booth Level Officers (BLOs), and students, all conducted under the supervision of District Nodal Officer SVEEP, Bikram Singh, CEO Ramban.

The SVEEP campaign continues to ensure that every eligible voter in Ramban exercises their right to vote in the upcoming elections.
