SVEEP Cell Rajouri organizes voter awareness, plantation drive

RAJOURI, MARCH 19: Department of Botany, Government Degree College Rajouri in collaboration with the SVEEP Cell, today organized voter awareness cum plantation drive under the patronage of Principal of the college, Dr. Shameem Azad and Head of the Botany Department, Dr. Tajinder Singh.

The event aimed to promote environmental consciousness among students while emphasizing the importance of civic engagement, particularly casting votes.

Principal, Dr. Shameem Azad and Prof. Iqbal Raina, Nodal Officer SVEEP Cell led the initiative by planting a diverse array of significant medicinal plants. The event witnessed active participation including Dr. Khalid Rayaz, Dr. Ajaz Nazir, Dr. Nelofar Nabi, Dr. Saleem Jahangir, and Dr. Tahir Mehmood.
