SVEEP Program held at GHSS Barwal to strengthen electoral awareness

KATHUA, SEPTEMBER 07: To promote electoral participation and awareness, a program under the SVEEP initiative was organized today at NSYS Government Higher Secondary School Barwal in 66-Jasrota AC.

AC Nodal Officer Mangal Singh, addressed the students and staff, emphasizing the importance of strengthening the electoral process through active participation. He urged the attendees to not only exercise their right to vote but also to encourage others to do the same, ensuring a more inclusive and democratic election.

Principal of the institution Manju Bala, Kewal Krishan, Lecturer, and Dr. Shaveta Bharti, Teacher also shared their insights, highlighting the mission and vision of the SVEEP program. They spoke about the critical role that voter education plays in empowering citizens and ensuring free and fair elections.

The event served as an important platform to inspire the younger generation to actively engage in the democratic process and to spread awareness about the significance of voting. ‎
