SVEEP: Special Interactive Session for BLOs, Anganwadi Workers & Supervisors held at Sumbal
BANDIPORA, SEPTEMBER 18: SVEEP Cell Bandipora on Wednesday organised a special interactive session at Dak Bungalow, Sumbal, for Booth Level Officers (BLOs), Anganwadi workers, and supervisors of Assembly Constituency, 14-Sonawari under the Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) initiative.
The session focused on enhancing voter turnout and addressing challenges faced by poll-day workers.
The event was presided over by Nodal Officer ManPower and Training, Dr. G.M. Pujoo besides Dr. Aashiq, Nodal Officer SVEEP for 14-Sonawari, and Coordinator SVEEP were also present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Pujoo highlighted the importance of voter participation. He said increasing voter turnout is a vital step in strengthening the foundation of our democracy besides emphasising that each vote matters, and it is crucial to make every citizen aware of their right and responsibility.
Addressing the participants, Dr. Aashiq, highlighted the role of BLOs, AASHA workers, and other staff on poll day and said their role is instrumental in ensuring the smooth conduct of elections.
Coordinator SVEEP urged the Booth Level Awareness Groups (BAGs) to take proactive steps in educating the masses.
He stressed BAGs to double their efforts in spreading awareness regarding the importance of voting.
The session served as an important platform for discussing and addressing election-related challenges, besides also laid emphasis on ensuring the smooth execution of the electoral process and increasing voter engagement in the upcoming elections.
