Swachh Bharat Abhiyan at Kotranka, Rajouri

Rajouri : 06 Sep 2024 Indian Army at Samote organised Swachh Bharat Abhiyan at Government Higher Secondary School, Kotranka on 06 Sep 2024. With an aim to promote clean and healthy lifestyle in the society, Indian Army alongwith villagers and school children organised Swachh Bharat Abhiyan at Government Higher Secondary School, Kotranka. School students exceptionally performed and clearly portrayed the message of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan as an important drive and the need of hour for development and healthy lifestyle in our society and the nation.

The students were made to understand various health problems related to defecation in open, unplanned waste disposal, unhygienic living conditions, sewage problems and personal hygiene.  A total of 05 teachers and 97 students (including 45 boys & 52 Girls) participated in the said event.

The aim of conducting Swachh Bharat Abhiyan was to inculcate a sense of cleanliness and hygiene amongst the local populace and to promote awareness towards a cleaner environment. Prominent locals, Sarpanchs, Panchs, Retired Government Employees, Senior Citizens, Shopkeepers and locals have expressed their sincere thanks and gratitude towards Indian Army for this noble initiative.
