“Swachhata Hi Seva” Campaign held at Khaltse and Skurbuchan block

Khaltse, September 20, 2024: To ensure the saturation of flagship programme, ‘Swachhata Hi Seva’ campaign was organised today at Panchayat Halqa Khaltse and Skurbuchan Block.

The Swachhata Pledge was taken at Block Development Office Khaltse, Panchayat Tingmosgang, High School Tia and Middle School Takmachik of Khaltse block, where the participants took an oath to keep their surroundings clean and contribute to Swachh Bharat Mission.

Similarly, the Rural Development Department of Skurbuchan block conducted a cultural fest at High School Domkhar.  The department also identified Black Spots at Skurbuchan village and mega cleanliness drive was conducted at the identified area by the locals in collaboration with Rural Development Department Leh.

Selfie points were also installed at prominent places with the message of ‘Swachhata Hi Seva’ campaign where everyone enthusiastically clicked Selfies.

During the event, Nodal Officers, Panchayat secretaries, PRI members, teaching staff, Medical staff, Villagers and school students participated in the said campaign.
