SWD Kishtwar organises Medical Camp for issuance of Age certificates

KISHTWAR, February 09:  Social Welfare Department, in Collaboration with Health & Family Welfare Department on Thursday organised a Medical  Camp here at village Filler of Block Thakraie.

The camp was held under the supervision of District Social Welfare Officer Kishtwar, Zubair Ahmed.

At the outset, the participants were imparted  awareness regarding Pension Schemes of the Social Welfare department which includes Old Age Pension, Widow Pension, Physically Challenged & Transgender Pension. Further, detailed information was shared with regard to requisition of documents for applying online on JAN SUGAM Portal for Such Pension Schemes in the light of fresh guidelines of the Govt.

As many as 148 Medical Age Certificates were issued to the eligible persons for which they expressed gratitude to the District Administration Kishtwar, Social Welfare and Health departments.
