SWD Kishtwar organises Painting Competition at GHS Dadpeth under Drug Demand Reduction Campaign
KISHTWAR, February 16: On the directions of Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar, Dr. Devansh Yadav, Social Welfare Department, in collaboration with the Education Department, organised a painting competition under Drug Demand Reduction campaign here in the Government High School Dadpeth Zone Inderwa. District Social Welfare Officer Kishtwar, Zubair Ahmed supervised the event.
At the Outset, awareness was imparted to the participants by Tehsil Social Welfare Officer Chatroo and resource person deployed for winter tuition by Education Department regarding the ill effects of drugs and initiatives being taken by the Govt. to curb the drug menace
Over 90 students of different classes and staff deployed for running winter tuition participated in the said programme.
The participants were also provided with the consolation prizes and refreshment
Meanwhile, the SW Department, in Collaboration with Health & Family Welfare Department Organised Medical Age Camp at Panchayat Palmar-C
At the Outset of the camp awareness was imparted to participants about different Pension Schemes of the Social Welfare Department and the eligibility Criteria for availing benefits of such schemes.
154 Medical Age Certificates were distributed among the Pensioners/ Beneficiaries.
BDC Chairperson Palmar, Lalita Devi expressed thanks to the DC Kishtwar, CMO Kishtwar, BMO Kishtwar, DSWO Kishtwar for deputing team from Social Welfare & Health Deptt in far flung areas for the issuance of on spot Age Certificates free of Cost.
