SWD Ramban organizes awareness programmes on Swachhata Pakhwara, Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan

RAMBAN, AUGUST 06: Series of extensive awareness programmes were conducted by the District Social Welfare Officer, Rahul Gupta, in collaboration with Government Degree College, Gool.

The event focused on the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan, Swachhta Pakhwada, and SSR 2024 initiatives.

The program was held at GDC Gool, to sensitize students and staff about drug abuse, cleanliness, and social responsibility. Participants took a pledge to stay away from drugs and maintain a clean environment. Pamphlets and posters were distributed to emphasize these points.

The DSWO inaugurated the event, encouraging students to actively spread awareness and contribute to their communities.

As part of the cleanliness drive, participants were educated on the importance of maintaining hygiene and cleanliness in their surroundings. Pamphlets and posters related to cleanliness were distributed, emphasizing the need for a clean and healthy environment.

The event also highlighted the goals and objectives of the Social Responsibility Scheme 2024, encouraging students to take an active role in social service and community development.

The Department of Social Welfare plans to continue similar initiatives across educational institutions to promote widespread awareness and participation in these vital campaigns.
