SWEEP conducted at Diskit Village in view of Lok Sabha elections 

LEH, April 04: A SWEEP campaign and EPIC (Electoral Photo Identity Card) distribution verification was conducted at Diskit Village in preparation for the forthcoming election in the region on March 4.

The primary aim of the SVEEP (Systematic Voters Education and Electoral Participation) campaign and EPIC distribution is to ensure maximum voter turnout and to verify accurate distribution of EPIC among eligible voters.

During the campaign, the students of Govt Degree College, Diskit presented a skit on the importance of voting.

District Election Officer, Leh has directed for comprehensive verification of EPIC distribution and SWEEP campaign.

While addressing the gathering, SDM Nubra, Tufail Iqbal requested everyone to participate in the upcoming Lok Sabha Election to ensure maximum voter turnout.
