Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari visited Barzalla Hospital to see Mahreen Kour, the lone survivor of a recent Mughal Road accident
Doctors assured the Apni Party president of the injured girl’s steady recovery
*Srinagar, July 13: Apni Party President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari paid a visit to Srinagar’s Bone & Joints Hospital on Thursday to meet Mahreen Kour, the sole survivor of a heart-wrenching accident on Mughal Road that claimed the lives of her father, Ranbir Singh Bali, mother Parvinder Kour, and brother Irvan Singh. Mahreen emerged as the lone survivor from this devastating incident.
According to a press release issued here, Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari visited the injured Mahreen Kour and inquired about her health. He extended his solidarity to bereaved Mahreen during her time of grief and prayed for her swift recovery, as well as the eternal peace of her parents and brother.
On this occasion, Mr. Bukhari, who was accompanied by Senior party leaders including Mohammad Dilawar Mir, and Haji Parvez, also spoke to the on-duty doctors.
The doctors informed and assured him that the girl is being well treated and is on the path to recovery.
Later, while speaking with reporters, Mr. Bukhari expressed satisfaction in seeing that Mahreen is receiving excellent medical care and is steadily progressing towards recovery.
Pertinently, Ranbir Singh Bali, who served as the Director of Finance in the Forest, Ecology, and Environment Department in J&K, was accompanied by his wife Parvinder Kour, their son Irvan Singh, and their daughter Mahreen Kour when the unfortunate incident occurred. The family was travelling in their swift car from Kashmir to Surankote when the vehicle tragically veered off the road and plunged into a deep gorge near Pannar Bridge along Mughal Road on Sunday evening. Mr. Bali, Mrs. Kour, and their son died on the spot, while their daughter sustained severe injuries in this devastating incident.
