Tanuj Virwani is super excited for his first ‘big budget blockbuster movie’ Yodha, talks about the importance of versatility
Actor Tanuj Virwani is someone who has always believed in pushing himself time and again to test his skills and mettle. Self-belief and determination have truly been his ‘best friends’ in life and that’s why, he always managed to focus on the positives to create his own niche in the Indian entertainment industry. As an actor, Tanuj has never really bifurcated between platforms and has always focused on his craft instead of other things that are beyond his control. Well, looking back, he can certainly say that it has been one of his greatest strengths in life.
For any actor, whenever there’s a new project that’s set to release, they are always excited. But the enthusiasm and excitement is at a different level when it is a ‘first’ of any kind. For Tanuj, ‘Yodha’ being his first jam-packed action movie is a matter of great happiness and excitement. On being asked more about his feelings prior to the release, he says and we quote,
“Well, the ‘first’ of any kind is always special. Yodha is indeed my first jam-packed action movie and I have truly given my blood, sweat and tears to it. I completely surrendered myself to my directors and the project. This was something quite different from what I have done in the past and hence, I am super excited for it to come out in front of my audience soonest. As an actor, there’s no fun in repeating the same things that you do. The reason you are an actor is because you want to play different things which are not similar to your personality. That’s why for me, versatility is the top priority. Everyone, right from me and my entire family, we are all looking forward to it. I don’t want to give away too much but yes, Yodha will present to you all a very different version unlike any role I’ve played this far . Fingers crossed. Looking forward to getting all the love that you all have always given me in my journey so far. Thank you.”
Well, the trailer and teaser has already given us a sneak-peek into the brilliance that Tanuj Virwani has in store for us in Yodha and we simply can’t wait for 15th March, 2024 to see it unfold on the 70mm big screen. Here’s wishing him good luck and success for everything that he does going forward. Stay tuned for more updates.
