Tarun Chugh, Ravinder Raina, others thank PM Modi for conferring Bharat Ratna Award to the deserving
JAMMU, 9 February 24: Senior leaders of Bharatiya Janata Party lauded the decision of Modi government for conferring the highest civilian award (Bharat Ratna) to the deserving persons for their eminent services to the nation and society.
Tarun Chugh, BJP National General Secretary & Prabhari of J&K sent his heartfelt thanks to Prime Minister Modi for announcing Bharat Ratna to the former Prime Minister and visionary leader Narasimha Rao ji, former Prime Minister, & tall leader of farmers Chaudhary Charan Singh Ji and father of agricultural revolution M.S. Swaminathan. He said that the contribution of Rao ji in improving our economy, M.S. Swaminathan ji in upliftment of agriculture sector and Choudhary Charan ji in leading India at critical times is unique. India’s highest civilian honor is a true tribute to the work these great men did for the country.
Ravinder Raina, President, J&K BJP, said that the Modi government has recognized the true champions and leaders of this great nation and respected their life’s works. He blamed Congress for earlier ignoring the truly deserving candidates and gifting the prestigious award to their own families.
Ashok Koul, General Secretary (organization), J&K BJP, thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for taking decisive actions in the people’s favour. He lauded the decision adding that the BJP works for the nation, society and the persons without any prejudice and rising above politics.
Sunil Sharma, General Secretary, J&K BJP endorsed the decision of NDA Government to confer Bharat Ratna to these leaders and recounted their contributions in taking the country to new heights.
Vibodh Gupta, General Secretary, J&K BJP also thanked Prime Minister Modi for conferring Bharat Ratna to these dignitaries for their contribution in the progress and prosperity of the country.
