TBS, Bhaderwah Campus organized induction function ‘PRARAMBH-22’
JAMMU, December 31: The Business School, Bhaderwah Campus, University of Jammu organized an induction function ‘PRARAMBH-22’ for the newly inducted batch of MBA program.
The function started with a floral welcome of the guests by the faculty members of The Business School. Professor Rahul Gupta, Rector Bhaderwah Campus formally welcomed all guests, fellow faculty members and MBA students. He congratulated all the students for making the right choice to choose The Business School, Bhaderwah Campus for their career where the faculty is making its honest efforts to impart the best training to its budding managers.
Further, he ensured The Business School, Bhaderwah Campus and particularly to the students for all sorts of academic and administrative help for the smooth conduct of the programme. Dr. Mohammad Avais, Head of the Business School gave a detailed presentation about the achievement of the department. He informed the august gathering that the business school is producing young minds that are successful in academics as well as the corporate world.
The objective of this programme was to acclimatize the students to the new environment and get them acquainted with the institution’s culture. The programme commenced with a warm session by Ms Kanika Sambyal, Senior HR Head at Chenab Textile Mills.
She emphasized that apart from academic knowledge, smart work, creativity and out of box thinking shapes the students into able individuals strong enough to face the reality of the corporate world. An influential speech was delivered by Mr Rishi Gupta, CEO, Money Value Added Pvt. Ltd.
He briefed the students about the relevance of practical knowledge and training programmes and discussed some vital points considered by organizations, while hiring employees for summer training and final placements. He said, there is no dearth of jobs in the market but we need the right people with the right skills. Followed by the corporate session, an ice-breaking was conducted for all the newly admitted MBA students and were given induction kits as a token of love and blessing by the invited guests. Professor Sameer Gupta, Director, The Business School was the guest of honour in the function.
He graced the dais and enriched the audience with his valuable academic and administrative experience. He encouraged the students to develop corporate ready skills-sets to cope up with the complex and challenging working environment of business houses. Further, the Chief Guest of the Occasion Professor Umesh Rai, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, University of Jammu, in his enlightening speech motivated the students to leverage faculty expertise, creativity and enthusiasm to achieve their professional goals.
He discussed the Business School’s independent policy for curriculum design as per requirement of native societal needs and emphasized the need for live projects, online courses, reading and business communications to enrich their curriculum vitae to enhance their employability. All the faculty members including Dr Sunil Bhardwaj, Dr Rohit Bhagat, Dr Umesh Chaudhary, Dr Atif Javed Qazi, Dr Surekha, Mr Amit, Mr Rajinder, Ms Sonia Sharma of The Business School, Bhaderwah Campus University of Jammu, were present on the occasion.
The event was conducted by Dr Raashidah Qazi and Dr Meenakshi Nargotra, both lecturers in The Business School, Bhaderwah Campus University of Jammu. In the end, Dr Rohit Bhagat, placement coordinator, Bhaderwah Campus, gave concluding remarks and presented a formal vote of thanks.
