Tehsildar Jammu West asks lambardars, chowkidars to be vigilant in view of R-Day

JAMMU, January 17: On the directions Deputy Commissioner Jammu Avny Lavasa, Tehsil office Jammu west today organised a   meeting  with the Lambardars and Chowkidars under the Chairmanship of Tehsildar Satish Kumar.

During the meeting, Lambardars and Chowkodars were apprised about their duties and responsibilities and also directed to be extra vigilant in their respective jurisdictions in view of Republic Day celebrations.

They were also asked to make enquiries about any unknown persons’ movement and report to the concerned authority.

The recent order issued by the government regarding eviction from state land and Kachari land was also discussed during the meeting. A formal plan was also formulated for eviction from such land.
