Tejinder Singh discusses future strategy to intensify anti-drug campaign, strengthen grassroots engagement
Jammu, April 18: A significant meeting of the Youth National Conference (YNC) was held today under the chairmanship of Tejinder Pal Singh Aman, Provincial President of J&K YNC, to deliberate on the further course of action with respect to the ongoing anti-drug campaign and to enhance party activities at the grassroots level.

During the meeting, which witnessed the enthusiastic participation of youth leaders and delegates from various districts, the pressing issue of drug abuse among youth was discussed in detail at Sher-e- Kashmir Bhavan, Jammu today.
The Provincial President YNC expressed grave concern over the rising menace of drugs in society and reiterated the need for collective, coordinated efforts to root out this evil. He emphasized that the Youth National Conference has a pivotal role to play in creating awareness, supporting rehabilitation, and building pressure on the administration to tighten enforcement mechanisms against drug peddlers.
He said that the YNC would soon launch a comprehensive anti-drug awareness campaign across colleges, universities, and rural belts of Jammu and Kashmir. “The youth are the real agents of change, and it is our responsibility to protect future generations from this growing threat,” he said. He urged the cadre to conduct seminars, rallies, and interactive sessions involving students, parents, and community elders to generate mass awareness.
The Provincial President YNC also focused on the vital role of youth cadre in strengthening party activities at the grassroots level. It was unanimously resolved to activate youth committees in every panchayat, ward, and block to connect with people directly, understand local issues, and project the National Conference’s progressive vision.
Tejinder Pal Singh Aman further directed the party cadre to prepare ground reports and feedback mechanisms to ensure the party’s message and welfare initiatives are reaching the last person in line.

They encouraged Youth to unite and secure strong representation in upcoming local bodies and Panchayat Polls, reinforcing the party’s dedication to their upliftment.
The meeting concluded with a strong message of unity, discipline, and dedication towards building a vibrant and drug-free Jammu and Kashmir.
