‘The Morning Show’ season four to debut on Apple TV+ in September

Mumbai, Jun 30 (PTI) The third season of critically-acclaimed Apple TV+ series “The Morning Show” will premiere on September 13, the streamer announced on Friday.

The new season of the Reese Witherspoon and Jennifer Aniston-led show will debut with its first two episodes on September 13, a press release stated.

The show, directed by Mimi Leder and showrun by Charlotte Stoudt, has already been renewed for a fourth season by Apple TV+.

Witherspoon and Aniston also serve as executive producers on “The Morning Show”, which explores the cutthroat world of morning news and the lives of the people who help America wake up in the morning.

It is told through the lens of two complicated women working to navigate the minefield of high-octane jobs while facing crises in both their personal and professional lives, as per the official description.

The fourth season will see the future of the fictional UBA network thrown into question and loyalties pushed to the brink as a tech titan takes an interest in the company.

“Unexpected alliances form, private truths are weaponised, and everyone is forced to confront their core values both in and out of the newsroom,” the official plotline read.

“The Morning Show” also features Billy Crudup, Mark Duplass, Nestor Carbonell, Karen Pittman, Greta Lee, Jon Hamm, Nicole Beharie, and Julianna Margulies.

It is produced by the studio Media Res, and executive produced by Michael Ellenberg, along with Aniston and Kristin Hahn of Echo Films; Witherspoon and Lauren Neustadter of Hello Sunshine.
