“They have fielded the same faces”: CM Saini on Congress candidate list for Haryana polls
Sirsa (Haryana) [India], September 9 (ANI): Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Monday said that Congress has repeated the candidates who failed to fulfil promises during their 2004-14 rule.
Saini slammed Congress for speaking about ‘honesty’ and accused them of ‘exploiting’ people. He further expressed confidence in BJP’s victory in Haryana Assembly polls.
“If you look carefully, they (Congress) have fielded the same candidates that they fielded during 2004-14. The same candidates who failed to fulfil their promises. They promised to give 24-hour electricity but failed to fulfil their promises. People used to stand in line for three days for gas cylinders during their time. People know these are the same faces, Congress has changed their masks, today they are speaking about honesty but they exploit people. However, people have decided to form a BJP government with a large mandate,” CM Saini said.
CM further listed out his government accomplishments in the past 10 years.
“In the field of health, in these past 10 years, our government has opened medical colleges in 15 districts, and the construction of colleges is going on in seven districts. For women, we have opened Rajkiya Kanya Mahavidhyalaya, so our daughters won’t have to go too far to study. Our government has done a lot of work. We have built 50000 houses and given the key to the people. 15000 more houses will be given to people,” CM Saini said.
CM Saini further mentioned the state and centre’s efforts for farmers.
“Our government decided to send Rs 2000/acre to farmers. Under PM Under PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, the centre provided over Rs, 5 000 crore to 20 lakh farmers,” CM Saini said.
Earlier, Speaking about BJP’s Manifesto, CM Saini said, “Suggestions have come from the people for making the Sankalp Patra. Whatever suggestions have come in making the Sankalp Patra, we will include them on a priority basis and we will implement all the Sankalp Patras completely.”
