“This is a clear message that there is a limit to dictatorship,” says AAP’s Gopal Rai on Sisodia’s bail
New Delhi [India], August 9 (ANI): Expressing happiness over the Supreme Court granting Manish Sisodia bail, Delhi Environment Minister and AAP leader Gopal Rai on Friday said that the verdict from the top court has given a clear message that there is a limit to dictatorship, no matter how strong it becomes.
“Entire Delhi and the country know Sisodia for its education sector revolution. The Supreme Court’s verdict has given a clear message there is a limit to dictatorship, no matter how strong get becomes. The children of Delhi got direction because of Sisodia. They got into medicine and IITs due to Sisodia. When the entire country started feeling that there couldn’t be any transformation in the country’s education system, he did things that enabled the government schools to produce better results than the private schools,” AAP’s Gopal Rai.
“The kind of work Arvind Kejriwal did gave new hope to the country but they (BJP) conspired against him and distorted the hopes of the people. Sisodia got arrested without any evidence against him. It showcases that the central government and Prime Minister Narendra Modi wanted to distort the road to educational transformation in the country. We want to wholeheartedly thank SC for granting bail. Yes, there is regret that Delhi’s Deputy Chief Minister had to stay in jail for 17 months. I want to thank the country’s people that the BJP’s conspiracy has failed. Arvind Kejriwal and Satyendra Jain too will come out of the jail,” he added further.
Meanwhile, Delhi Education Minister and AAP leader Atishi got emotional and said, “Today will go down in the history of India, in the history of India’s education system. The father of the education revolution has been granted bail. Today the truth has won, the students of Delhi have won.”
The AAP leader said that Sisodia was implicated in a false case as he gave a bright future to the children of Delhi.
“He was put in jail because he provided good education to poor children. Manish Ji was put in jail because he was giving a good education to the children of Delhi. He was put in jail because he gave 25 per cent of Delhi’s budget to the children of Delhi. He was such an education minister who transformed the future of children in Delhi,” Atishi said.
