Through virtual meeting, DC reviews patient care scenario in 208 health institutions of Doda District
DODA, May 18: Considering the significance of quality and timely health services delivery, Deputy Commissioner (DC), Doda Vishesh Mahajan today convened a virtual meeting and interaction with the doctors by establishing virtual contact with all 208 health care institutions to review the health care scenario in the District.
Additional District Development Commissioner Doda Pran Singh; CPO, Suresh Kumar; Chief Medical Officer, Dr Hamid Zargar, all BMOs and healthcare workers participated in the meeting.
The DC reiterated that health care is the essential service, and timely and quality delivery of the same remains the top most priority of the District Administration.
He expressed displeasure over the absence of health care staff, and directed to initiate termination proceedings against the unauthorizedly absent doctor(s) and other health workers in SDH Bhaderwah.
The DC asked the health institutions to submit their requirement of essential equipment and medicines through concerned BMOs and CMO for onward submission.
The DC appreciated the health care workers who remain available to serve humankind beating all hardships and advised them to uphold the grace of this noble profession.
