Tiranga Rallies organized across Baramulla to mark Independence Day celebrations
BARAMULLA, AUGUST 12: In preparation for the 78th Independence Day, the District Administration Baramulla organized a series of Tiranga rallies across sub-divisional, tehsil and block levels to foster national pride and unity.
The Tiranga rallies held across the district featured participants carrying the national flag, chanting patriotic slogans, and marching through significant local areas. At the sub-divisional level, rallies were held with Sub-Divisional Heads guiding participants through prominent landmarks. Tehsil headquarters hosted rallies that involved local school students, community members and officials in various patriotic activities. Additionally, block-level rallies saw community-wide participation with displays of Tiranga.
A mega Tiranga rally was held at the Baramulla headquarter. The Rally commenced at Showkat Ali Stadium and concluded at Akbar Chowk. Led by Assistant Commissioner Revenue Baramulla, Arshad Ahmad Khan, the rally involved students, officials, officers, and locals, serving as the focal point of the district’s Independence Day celebrations.
ACR Baramulla emphasized the significance of these events, stating, “The Tiranga rallies represented our collective commitment to celebrating the values of freedom and unity. We encouraged all residents to actively participate and reflect on the sacrifices that have shaped our nation. Together, we ensured a vibrant and inclusive Independence Day celebration.”
