TN Minister Sekar Babu launches logo for ‘Global Muthamizh Murugan Conference’
Chennai (Tamil Nadu) [India], July 29 (ANI): Tamil Nadu Minister of Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments PK Sekar Babu launched the logo for the ‘Global Muthamizh Murugan Conference’ on Monday in Chennai.
The conference is to be held at Palani, which is the third abode of the six abodes of Lord Murugan, on August 24 and 25, 2024. Here, Lord Muruga was revered as the God of Muthamizh.
Addressing a press conference at the launch, PK Seker Babu said, “Next month, on August 24, 25 ‘Global Muthamizh Murugan Conference’ will be held at Palani.
Many teams have been formed ahead of this conference. 36 people from other countries showed their interest in participating in this event. This event would be the first such event in Tamil Nadu spiritual history, which will bring a lot of pride to the Tamil deity Muruga. Free food would be distributed to all participants of the conference and medical camps are also being set up.”
“Since DMK forms the government, TN CM has participated in 74 Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments department events. As a department minister, I have participated in 606 events. How one can say this government is against spiritualism?” he further added.
The purpose of the Global Muthamizh Murugan Conference is to worship Lord Muruga.
The objectives of the conference are to spread the core principles of Murugan globally, to enable easy understanding of philosophical doctrines of Murugan, to unite devotees of Murugan on a global scale, to propagate the valuable gems of Murugan worship drawn from Puranas, literature, Thirumurais, and Shaiva Siddhanta scriptures and to instill the renowned Murugan doctrines of the precious heritage in the minds of the youth, paving the way for a prosperous and harmonious divine world.
