In addition to regular study, acquiring proficiency in a single skill is crucial to achieving one’s objectives, emphasized Pawan Sharma, BJP Senior leader, and coordinator of Skill India Mission in J&K, while addressing students at Model Higher Secondary School Madh as part of an awareness campaign organized by Yuva Vikas Society in Jammu and Kashmir to promote the Prime Minister’s Skill Development Program among youth.
According to him, in today’s time, it is not sufficient to merely obtain good grades but it is also essential to acquire expertise in a particular skill.
This skill is extremely crucial for students to attain success in their lives and it will enable them to accomplish their objectives.
He motivated students to explore their passions and interests, ultimately achieving excellence in these areas.
He underscored that skill development is a vital step towards attaining success, thereby enabling students to realize their desired objectives.
On this occasion, Pawan Sharma also apprised the students of the Skill India Mission, which seeks to empower the youth with diverse skills and provide them with employment opportunities. He exhorted the students to hone their skills and attain their objectives.
Pawan Sharma stressed that presently, students should develop specific critical skills, including dialogue skills, communication, problem-solving, leadership, emotional intelligence, and time management, in conjunction with computer skills, marketing, office management, front office assistance, electrical repairing, and mobile repairing, among others.
On this occasion, Pawan Sharma also urged the students to participate in the Prime Minister Skill Development Scheme by registering at the local Prime Minister Skill Development Center in their respective areas.
