My friend recently visited Chiang Mai, a captivating city in northern Thailand, and she couldn’t stop raving about it. First of all, the location is fantastic – nestled among lush green mountains and flanked by the Ping River.

The old city center is a charming maze of ancient temples, like the famous Wat Phra Singh with its dazzling golden Buddha statues. But Chiang Mai isn’t just about history! My friend said the street food markets were out of this world.

With sizzling pad Thai noodles and fragrant curries that made her mouth water. Plus, she got to experience the famous Sunday Walking Street market, which stretches for miles with colorful handicrafts and souvenirs. So, what are you waiting for my friends pack your bag and explore this place.
