Tourism Directorate Jammu organises Spectacular Trek from Triyoli to Slaangar to celebrate “National Tourism Day”
JAMMU, January 25: In a dynamic celebration of National Tourism Day, the Directorate of Tourism Jammu orchestrated a captivating trek from Triyoli to Slaangar, seamlessly blending adventure with an appreciation for the region’s scenic wonders.
The 3.5 km upright trek, flagged off from the serene Ambaran, an International Buddhist site at Akhnoor, commenced at the picturesque Triyoli.
Navigating through enchanting landscapes, the journey showcased the rich cultural and natural heritage of the region, concluding at the Govt. Girls High School in Slaangar offering an aerial view of Bhambla and Sunderbani Town, creating an unforgettable experience for participants.
This initiative aligns seamlessly with the theme of this year’s National Tourism Day – “Sustainable Journeys, Timeless Memories,” demonstrating the Directorate of Tourism Jammu’s commitment to promoting responsible and mindful travel practices.
The trek not only provided participants with an adventurous experience but also underscored the significance of sustainable tourism in preserving the cultural and natural treasures of the region.
