Traffic alert: Jammu-Srinagar National Highway faces delays due to single lane, shooting stones

Commuters traveling along the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway (NHW) are facing delays, particularly in the Ramsoo sector, due to single-lane traffic and deteriorating road conditions.

According to an official traffic update, “There is a slow movement in the Ramsoo sector due to single lane and poor surface,”.

It further advised motorists to “follow lane discipline as there is a single lane at Dalwas, Cafeteria-Mehad, Gangroo and poor surface condition of the road at many places between Nashri and NAVYUG Tunnel.

Additionally, authorities also warned of potential hazards, urging motorists to “drive with caution due to the possibility of shooting stones between Ramban and Banihal.”
