Traffic restored on Jammu-Srinagar highway, other key roads remain closed due to snow
Traffic has been restored on the crucial Jammu-Srinagar National Highway (NH 44) after facing disruptions.

However, single-lane traffic is currently operational at Dalwas, and commuters are advised to exercise caution and strictly follow lane discipline. Overtaking is strictly prohibited.
Meanwhile, several other roads in the region remain closed due to snow accumulation. These include the SSG Road, Mughal Road, Kishtwar-Sinthan-Anantnag Road, and Bhaderwah-Chamba Road.
Travelers planning to use these routes are advised to postpone their journeys or choose alternative routes until the roads are cleared.
Authorities are working to clear the roads as quickly as possible, but commuters are advised to be prepared for delays and potential disruptions.
