This comes as a relief for commuters who were earlier facing delays and detours due to damage on the Hingni road section in Ramsoo, Ramban. According to Jammu & Kashmir Traffic Police, traffic is plying from both sides of the highway.
The Jammu-Srinagar NHW, a lifeline for the region, witnessed disruptions due to damage on the Hingni road, prompting traffic regulations.
However, with swift repair and maintenance efforts, the highway is now open for traffic from both sides. The SSG road and Mughal road are also accessible for vehicular movement, providing alternative routes for commuters.
