Traffic snarls on Jammu-Srinagar Highway amid nomadic flocks & vehicle breakdowns in Ramban
Traffic on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway (NH-44) is moving slowly today between Ramban and Banihal due to breakdowns of vehicles and a large movement of nomadic flocks.
Light Motor Vehicles (LMVs) were not being allowed from either side because of delays in clearing heavy vehicles (HMVs) that had broken down. Traffic authorities advised LMV drivers and passengers to be patient and cooperate with the police.

Officials urged commuters to maintain lane discipline, as overtaking can worsen congestion.
While NH-44 experiences slow movement, the SSG road and Mughal Road are open for travel.
Travelers are advised to check traffic updates before embarking on their journey on the Jammu-Srinagar highway.
