Training of district officers on JK Samadhan Portal held

SAMBA, AUGUST 02: A comprehensive training session on the JK Samadhan portal was conducted today at DC office Samba for all district and sectoral officers to enhance the efficiency of grievance redressal mechanisms at the grassroots level.

Deputy Commissioner Samba Abhishek Sharma emphasized the importance of promptly addressing public grievances. To expand the initiative, similar sessions will be organized at the Tehsil and block levels.

DC further stressed the need for robust public awareness campaigns. Proposed strategies include utilizing social media handles and influencers, conducting public outreach camps, installing banners, broadcasting jingles and informational audio clips in public areas, setting up kiosks or help desks in government offices, and organizing seminars and competitions in schools and colleges.

During the session, DIO NIC Malaram delivered an insightful briefing on the JK Samadhan portal using a PowerPoint presentation. A question-and-answer session was also held to address queries from attendees.

To ensure effective coordination, ADC Samba Suresh Sharma will serve as the Nodal Officer for the portal, overseeing its integration and use across relevant departments.
