Training on disaster management held at Wanla and Dha

LEH, March 10: As per the direction of CEO/District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) Leh, Shrikant Suse, a training on disaster management was conducted by DDMA, Leh in collaboration with UTDRF and Aapda Mitra volunteers at Halqa Panchayat Wanla (A) and Halqa Panchayat Dha as the scheduled prepared by DDMA Leh.

On the first day of training, the team briefed about disaster management such as medical aid, CPR, CSSR, search and rescue operations. Also, the team practically demonstrated about the rescue kits to the participants.

BDO, Singay Lalok, Pankaj Rajput; BDO, Skurbuchan,Tsewang Nurboo; Panchayat Secretary, Wanla A, Tsering Murup and Panchayat Secretary Dha, Konchok Sherab participated in the training. Besides, Nambardars, Sarpanches, Panches, Public Representatives, Women, and School students were also present.
