Trial run conducted for Counting Day

Leh, June 3, 2024: In the supervision of Assistant Returning Officer (ARO), Ghulam Mohd (JKAS) and Nodal Officer, Postal Ballot, Sonam Nurboo a trial run for the Counting Day for Lok Sabha Election 2024 was conducted at Sindhu Sanskriti Kendra (SSK) today on June 3.

Nodal Officer, EVM, Mohd Ayub explained the detailed process to the Counting Supervisors  and Counting Assistants and also conducted a mock run. 

The officials that will be conducting the pre-counting process of the e-Postal Ballot in the pre-counting room also participated in the trial run. 

Additionally, Returning Officer, 1-Ladakh Parliamentary Constituency, Santosh Sukhadeve and SSP, Leh, Shruti Arora inspected the Counting Halls including the Strong Room and the overall security scenario at SSK at 5:00 pm.
