Two-day Painting Exhibition ‘Studio Oasis-Creativity Blooms Here’ of APS Damana organized by JKAACL

JAMMU, January 30: A Two-day Painting Exhibition was organized by J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages in collaboration with Army School Damana at K.L.Saigal Hall, Abhinav Theatre, Jammu under the theme ‘Studio Oasis-Creativity Blooms Here’. The event was inaugurated by the Chief Guest Padma Shri Mohan Singh Slathia, a versatile artist known for his exceptional work in the field of Dogri Language, Art and Literature and Guest of Honour Lt Col Randeep Singh Slathia SO School. Principal APS Damana, Mrs Pushpinder Kaur applauded the efforts of the young artists and appreciated the aesthetic sense connectivity of young minds.

Shri Popinder Singh, Sr. Editor and Sh. Irshad Hussain Tantray Exhibition Officer JKAACL also shared the dais with the dignitaries. Under the able guidance of Sh. Bharat Singh, Secretary, JKAACL this art exhibition was organised as an endeavour to showcase the aesthetic sensibility of the students’, enhancing their artistic skills, creativity, and help them to be inquisitive and think analytically. The young budding artists of classes IX –XII spellbound the audience with their captivating prowess and exhibits.

The event was witnessed by APS Jammu Cantt, APS Miran Sahib, APS Samba, Model Academy and KV Bantalab which come under Cluster I and CBSE HUBS OF LEARNING. The occasion was graced by the august presence of almost 200 participants from various schools and their escort teachers. The welcome note was presented by Vanshika Magotra, Head Girl of the school followed by inaugural address by the Chief Guest. The visitors had a glance on various artistic exhibits of the students.
