Two Day training workshop for Pashu Sakhis held at Reasi

REASI, October 28: A two day training programme for Pashu Sakhis/A-help workers was organized today here in the Conference Hall of DC Office Complex Reasi. As many as 90 Pashu Sakhis/A-help workers participated. 

On the first day, the Pashu Sakhis/A-help workers were imparted theoretical training regarding Ration Balancing and Milk recording.

The training programme was organized to improve the knowledge base of Pashu Sakhis/A help workers with the aim of promoting scientific and sustainable animal husbandry practices, providing door step first aid and counseling services for disease prevention among the livestock.

On the 2nd day, the practical training was imparted to the participants through dairy farm visits. The training was imparted by master trainers nominated for district Reasi Viz Dr.Vikrant Hansa, Dr.Raman Badyal and Dr. Shubham Gupta.

The two day training programme was attended by Deputy Commissioner, Chief Agriculture Officer & Chief Horticulture Officer.
