Two-days Capacity Building Program concludes at Lal Mandi Srinagar

SRINAGAR, DECEMBER 11: Two days capacity building programme on ‘Enhancing Productivity of Rainfed Niches through Precision Oriented Research and Deployment’ under HADP’s project ‘Rainfed Area Development’ concluded today at Lalmandi Srinagar.


The programme was organised by Dryland Agriculture Research Station SKUAST-K Rangreth and was attended by the Officers/ officials of the Agriculture department.
Addressing the valedictory session of the programme, Joint Director Agriculture Kashmir highlighted the importance of organising such programmes. He asked the participants to ensure that the latest technologies in the field of rainfed areas development reaches the farmer’s field.


He also underlined the significance of awareness among the farmers regarding rainfed farming. He said the main idea behind organising such programs is that the latest trends and technologies in the concerned fields reach farmers and they adopt it with open minds on their fields.


Several speakers presented their lectures during the training programme.
