Two-month Amarnath Yatra reflects positive transformation in J&K: Vibodh
Vibodh ridicules NC-PDP sudden love for AmarnathJi Yatra, Kashmiri Pandits
JAMMU, 29 June: BJP J&K General Secretary Vibodh Gupta conducted a public outreach programme as part of the Maha Jan Sampark Abhiyan, celebrating nine years of good governance by the Modi government. During the programme, he asserted that the Maha Jan Sampark Abhiyan by BJP aims to connect with the people, spread awareness about the achievements of the Modi government, and gather feedback to ensure continued good governance in the region.
Vibodh highlighted the government’s commitment to ensuring the safety of the AmarnathJi Yatra pilgrimage and expressed gratitude for the recent sanctioning of a 110-kilometre long four-lane Amarnath Marg (road) leading to the holy cave shrine in Pahalgam. He also acknowledged the efforts of Hon’ble LG Manoj Singh Ji in establishing a peaceful atmosphere for the Amarnath Yatra.
“Due to the overall peaceful atmosphere in Jammu & Kashmir and the confidence instilled by the government, this year’s Amarnath Yatra, commencing on July 1st, will be an unprecedented two-month long pilgrimage. This duration is a significant milestone, as previous yatras were often restricted to only 15-20 days due to security and other considerations”, Vibodh said
In his address, Gupta ridiculed the National Conference (NC) and People’s Democratic Party (PDP) for their sudden interest in the holy Amarnath Ji Yatra. He questioned their silence when the Yatris faced threats from Pakistan and separatist elements in the past, as well as their lack of action when five lakh minorities were forced to leave Kashmir. He highlighted the historical significance of the Amarnath Ji Yatra and its association with the livelihoods of the common people of Kashmir.
Prabhari Gandhinagar Mandal Narendra Kumar said that the common people are recognizing the genuine efforts of the Modi government in promoting good governance, development, and peace in Jammu and Kashmir. He asserted that
BJP’s comprehensive development plan encompasses various sectors, including infrastructure, education, healthcare, employment generation, and tourism.
Mandal Pardhan, Ganddhinagr Bharat Bhushan told that under the visionary leadership of the Modi government, the BJP remains dedicated to addressing the unique challenges faced by Jammu and Kashmir and ensuring its holistic development.
