Udhampur Admin organises interactive session with DDC members
UDHAMPUR, July 31: An impressive interactive session was organized by District Administration Udhampur with the members of District Development Council here in Conference Hall DC Office Complex, today.
District Development Council Chairperson, Udhampur Lal Chand, Vice Chairperson DDC, Udhampur Juhi Manhas Pathania, Deputy Commissioner, Udhampur Sachin Kumar Vaishya, CEO,DDC, BDCs and DDCs, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Joginder Singh Jasrotia, Chief Planning Officer, Mudassir Yaqoob Zargar and other senior officers were present.
During the interactive session, the Chairperson DDC sought cooperation from the District Administration as well as all District officers of different departments to take the development profile of the District to new heights. He added that the effective implementation of the developmental schemes is not possible without the active participation of District officers. The Chairperson DDC also appreciated the efforts of district administration under the dynamic leadership of Deputy Commissioner for effective implementation of government schemes in the district.
While interacting with the DDC Council, the Deputy Commissioner sought cooperation from the District Development Council members as well as all PRIs to take the development profile of the District to new heights. He added that the effective implementation of all developmental schemes is not possible without the active participation of BDCs and DDCs. The DC requested all the DDCs and BDCs to actively participate in the Meri Maati Mera Desh campaign and sensitize the common masses regarding Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan and Swachh Bharat Mission in their respective areas. He assured the Council that every possible support will be provided from the District Administration side.
The DDC members put forth their issues and demands regarding shortage of staff in Government schools, Maintenance of various roads, Opening of fair price shops, Pending payment under 14th FC, Providing electric meters in Majalta areas and other issues raised by the PRI members.
