Under PM Modi, J&K witnesses unprecedented surge in development: Slathia
SAMBA: Former minister and J&K BJP Vice President Surjeet Singh Slathia today enumerated the gains of peace brought in Jammu and Kashmir under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, saying the Union Territory has stepped up pace in development, progress and implementation of various people friendly schemes, especially during the past over four and half years.
Addressing public meetings at Badwani ward No 9 Thalora Mandi Ward No 15 Chowata Ward No 1,2 and 7, Keli Mandi, Chak Manga, Rai, Nankay Chak And Supwal in Samba, Slathia said the BJP’s pro-people policies have emerged as a beacon of hope, offering a pathway towards genuine service and inclusive development in both the regions and sub regions of Jammu and Kashmir.
He said the unprecedented milestones registered in various sectors of development post abrogation of Article 370, are reflective of the transformative power of collective action and public engagement. By embracing the principles of integrity, inclusivity, and accountability, the double engine government has harnessed the full potential of the resources to build a brighter, more equitable future for all. Whether through grassroots initiatives, community outreach programmes, or responsive governance structures, the report card of the BJP is full of initiatives taken to uplift the most vulnerable and marginalized segments of society and ensuring that no one is left behind, he added.
Slathia referred to some of the great initiatives taken over the years and implementation of various schemes and welfare programmes with missionary zeal, saying these have resulted in the growth of every section of the society. The BJP’s outreach to every single person speaks about the sincerity of intent to ensure Jammu and Kashmir’s fast track development as per the cherished agenda of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas, he added.
Surjeet Singh Slathia dwelt in detail on various path breaking initiatives aimed at ensuring development, creating infrastructural facilities, strengthening utility services and giving fillip to growth as a result of massive investments. He also spoke about measures taken for improving the civic amenities and other utility services under the flagship programmes and said these have transformed Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory.
