Union Minister Hardeep Puri addresses beneficiary Sammelan of Bahu constituency
JAMMU, June 16:Hardeep Singh Puri, Union Minister of Petroleum & Natural Gas and Housing and Urban Affairs along with BJP National Secretary Dr. Narinder Singh, J&K BJP General Secretary Adv. Vibodh Gupta, MP (Rajya Sabha) Gh. Ali Khatana, former Minister Priya Sethi, District Prabhari Ayodhya Gupta, held interaction with the people who have availed benefits of various schemes Narendra Modi government and also addressed a largely attended meeting of these people.
Puri was addressing a beneficiary sammelan of Bahu Assembly constituency, which was organized under the leadership of District President Rekha Mahajan.
Hardeep Puri while addressing the Sammelan spoke on the difference between the governance before 2014 and after 2014. Proving the figures, he said that liberal funds were allocated towards the public welfare schemes while establishing a new dimension in the services for the needy. He said that the schemes are partilcularly benefitting to the who need the assistances economically in the true sense.
He said that 11.75 crore toilets have been constructed across the nation. 9.6 crore Ujjawala Yojana connections, benefits under PM Awas Yojana and other benefits are provided to needy people. Dry ration was provided to more than 80 crore needy people during Covid pandemic and still the people are receiving it. 36 lakh Street vendors are provided benefits under Swanidhi Yojana. 20 crore cash benefits were provided to females during Covid. 7 people were provided benfits under stand up. Eklavya schools are scntioned. 48 crore jan dhan accounts are opened.
He talked of the increased socio-economic status of people under Modi government in last 9 years irrespective of region or religion.
Vibodh Gupta, while addressing the Sammelan said that a visible change in the lives of the people of Jammu & Kashmir is seen which has been revolutionary in improving the social and economical position of the people.
Khatana, also spoke on the welfare schemes of the Modi government and said that with each passing day more and more schemes are there to come.
Priya Sethi said that the women have been taken care while formulating the welfare schemes for the people of the country.
