Union Minister Puri visits hospitals, meets prominent citizens & retired senior officers
JAMMU June 5: Dr. Hardeep Singh Puri, Union Minister for Housing & Urban Affairs & Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas, visited Bone & Joint and Cancer Hospitals in Jammu under Vikas Tirath campaign of BJP. He also visited the residences of prominent retired senior officers and sports figures during his visit to the city of temples under Sampark Se Samarthan campaign of BJP.
MP (Lok Sabha) Jugal Kishore Sharma, Former BJP President & former Minister Sat Sharma, BJP vice President Sham Lal Sharma, former Minister & BJP NEM Priya Sethi, and other senior leaders of the party accompanied Dr. Puri.
The Union Minister took round of the Bone & Joint and Cancer Hospitals, inspected various facilities being provided to the ailing people and also interacted with the health care staff.
Dr. Puri, later, had a separate sitting with former DGP J&K Police Dr. SP Vaid, retired bureaucrat KP Jandial, President Chamber of Commerce & Industries Arun Gupta, and Olympian Gagandeep Singh Khalsa.
He shared the achievements of PM Modi’s nine years of governance. He said that the BJP has undertaken Sampark se Samarthan to seek public support for further strengthening the party and the hands of the PM. He said that the people who have excelled in their lives and served at highest positions have a vast knowledge of the socioeconomic and sociopolitical environment of the country and their support can serve to help the government in formulating more and more programs and policies for the nation and society.
Dr. Puri appealed them to not sit idle after their retirement from active service but utilize their experience in guiding and strengthening the BJP so that it gets encouragement to go ahead with new projects and schemes for the betterment of the country and people.
