UP CM Adityanath holds ‘Janta Darshan’ in Gorakhpur

Gorakhpur (UP), Jan 13 (PTI) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath met the public at the Gorakhnath temple here during ‘Janta Darshan’ on Monday and asked officials to resolve their grievances promptly and sensitively to prevent undue hardship for them.

Emphasising the need for timely financial support for medical treatment, the chief minister instructed the officials to expedite the process of obtaining hospital estimates for those seeking government assistance and ensure that they are promptly submitted for approval, according to an official statement.

During the interaction, Adityanath advised a woman seeking financial assistance for medical treatment to obtain an estimate from PGI Lucknow and assured her that the government would cover the expenses.

When another woman sought help for a family member undergoing treatment at BRD Medical College here, the chief minister promptly instructed the officials present to address the matter and provide the necessary assistance.

“CM Adityanath assured all those seeking financial assistance for serious illnesses that his government would ensure that no one is denied medical treatment due to the lack of funds, with support provided through the Discretionary Fund,” the statement said.

Adityanath met around 100 individuals during the ‘Janta Darshan’ at the Mahant Digvijaynath Auditorium of the Gorakhnath temple. He patiently heard their grievances, forwarded applications to the concerned officials, and assured them that their issues would be resolved promptly.

He also instructed officials to adopt a compassionate approach towards those seeking help and resolve their issues diligently, emphasising the need to ensure impartiality and public satisfaction.

Referring to cases of land encroachment or intimidation, Adityanath directed the officials to take strict legal action against wrongdoers and ensure fair and satisfactory resolution for all.
