UP: Construction of Ayodhya Airport almost complete, people may travel from November
Ayodhya (Uttar Pradesh) [India], September 10 (ANI): The rejuvenation work of Shri Ram’s city is going on at a fast pace under the Central and state government of Uttar Pradesh and the work is in full swing, an official release said.
Along with the Central Government, the Yogi Government is also making efforts to provide various facilities to the devotees in the coming days.
According to District Magistrate Nitish Kumar, all the works of Maryada Purushottam Shriram International Airport are to be done in three phases. For this, 100 per cent work of acquiring total 821 acres of land included in the project has been completed.
Along with this, the runway work of phase-one of the airport has also been 100 per cent completed. Here, the work of CAT-1 and RESA facilities for night landing and landing in fog and mist has also been 100 per cent completed.
Similarly, the work of ATC tower is also 100 per cent complete. According to the District Magistrate, the obstacles to the operation of the airport have been removed.
Before operation of the airport by the Airport Authority of India aircraft, various components included in the Instrument Landing System (ILS) at the airport such as localizer, glide path, marker, D.M.E. etc. calibration have also been done.
The District Magistrate has inspected the under-construction terminal building and under-construction apron etc. During the inspection, Airport Authority officials informed that more than 78 per cent of the work of the terminal building has been completed and the remaining work is being done at a fast pace in two shifts daily.
Along with this, he said that 100 per cent work of the parking facility for four aircraft on one apron is complete and the work of the parking facility for four aircraft on the other apron is being carried out rapidly.
The District Magistrate gave instructions to get all the work done at a fast pace by deploying maximum human resources and machinery in all the shifts and to complete all the work in the required time. He said that there is a plan to start the operation of the airport this calendar year by meeting all the standards of airport operation.
Director of Maryada Purushottam Shriram International Airport, Vinod Kumar said that the flights from here will be started from the month of November before the consecration program of Ramlala in the grand Ram temple.
In the first phase, there is a plan to start flights to Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad. After this, considering the influx and demand of passengers, flights will be started to other big cities. The construction of the first phase of Ayodhya Airport will be completed by October next month.
