Uttar Pradesh: CM Yogi Adityanath to visit Ayodhya today
Ayodhya (Uttar Pradesh) [India], September 5 (ANI): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will visit Ayodhya on Thursday.
He will spend approximately two hours there. He will also visit and offer prayers at Hanumangarhi and Ram Lalla.
Additionally, he will participate in events organised at Ramsevak Puram and Karsevak Puram.
He will inaugurate a Shiva temple at Ramsevak Puram, built at the site where Ram devotees performed havan for a month during the Ram Temple movement. He will also offer the final oblation (purnahuti) in the ongoing yajna for the consecration of the temple and hoist the flag atop the temple.
The Chief Minister will also attend a program marking the birth anniversary of the late Ashok Singhal, the founder of the Vishva Hindu Parishad and one of the key figures of the Ram Temple movement. He will honour the best Vedic school, the best Sanskrit teacher, and the top-performing student in the country at this event.
The Chief Minister’s helicopter is expected to arrive at Ram Katha Park at 10:30 AM on Thursday.
Earlier, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday distributed appointment letters to 1,334 junior engineers, computer technicians and foremen selected by the Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC).
Speaking at the event in Lucknow, CM Yogi took a dig at Akhilesh Yadav and Shivpal Singh Yadav, accusing them of doing “vasooli” during their government.
“Why didn’t people earlier get appointment letters? The reason was that their intention was not clear. ‘Chacha-Bhatija’ was in a race of doing ‘vasooli’,” CM Yogi said.
