VBSY: Govt services, health facilities attract public at Marh

JAMMU, DECEMBER 12: The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, an initiative to disseminate and engage with MyGov Activities and Hamara Sankalp Viksit Bharat, reached Block Marh today, where it was welcomed by BMO Marh, Dr Jyoti Bhau, PRI members and villagers.

The yatra’s IEC van traversed village Parwah, where it displayed audio-visual messages on the achievements and welfare schemes of the Government, such as Ayushman Bharat, PM-KISAN, PMAY, Ujjwala, Jal Jeevan Mission, etc.

The villagers were also informed about the benefits of the ABHA (Ayushman Bharat Health Account) cards, which provide free access to health care services.

As many as 55 people were screened for non communicable diseases, 5 for tuberculosis, while 25 were tested for haemoglobin. Likewise, 18 ABHA IDs were generated and 75 ABHA cards were distributed.

The villagers expressed gratitude to the yatra team and the government for bringing such awareness and health services to their doorstep. They also pledged to support the vision of Viksit Bharat and participate in the MyGov Activities and Hamara Sankalp Viksit Bharat.

The yatra will continue to cover more villages and blocks in the coming days, spreading the message of development and empowerment.
