VBSY: IEC campaign held in 13 wards in MC Kulgam

DC Kulgam participates in VBSY function at Bungam; Administers VBS pledge among participants

KULGAM, DECEMBER 15: Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) continues in full swing in Kulgam district and has reached urban areas today by covering 13 wards of Municipal Council, Kulgam.

The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Dr.Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat also participated in VBSY at Bungam Kulgam where he administered the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Pledge among participants.

ACR, Mir Imtiyaz-ul-Aziz; ACD, Mohammad Imran; EO, Mohammad Imran and other officers and officials of line departments also attended the programme.

The programme also witnessed overwhelming public participation.

Stalls were set up by various departments to aware people about their schemes and programmes besides on spot registration counters were also set up by the departments.

During the programme, video messages of Hon’ble Prime Minister and other promotional videos were also screened on an IEC van.

Addressing the gathering, DC complimented the concerned for organising the yatra successfully and also extended gratitude to people for their pro-active participation and overwhelming response to the events of the yatra since the beginning of the yatra.

He said that the focus of the Yatra is to reach out to the people, creating awareness and providing benefits of welfare schemes.

Students also presented colourful and scintillating cultural programmes and theme based skits.
