VBSY in panchayat Bhalwana and Barshalla receives cordial salutation

DODA, December 13: The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra made its mark in Panchayat Bhalwana and Barshalla, within the precincts of Block Gundna, District Doda, as it orchestrated a camp to ensure the comprehensive implementation of key government initiatives. The PRI members, frontline workers, and the local community warmly greeted the teams during this event, where officers and officials from the relevant department actively participated.

Commencing with the arrival of the IEC Van, the event unfolded with the screening of an introductory movie, followed by the participants collectively taking the Viksit Bharat Pledge. Throughout the Yatra, officers engaged with the public, disseminating information about government schemes and listening to the experiences of beneficiaries. The community demonstrated fervent involvement, with various government departments setting up stalls to showcase their flagship initiatives, fostering awareness and participation. The occasion also featured firsthand accounts from scheme beneficiaries under “Meri Kahani, Meri Zubaani,” a quiz competition for students, and a medical health checkup camp.

Emphasizing schemes like PM KISAN, Vishwakarma, Suraksha Bima Yojna, Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana, Ayushman Bharat, Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana, Jan Dhan Yojana, PM Awas Yojana, JJM, Poshan Abhiyaan, and various welfare, Self employment, and income generation programs, department representatives highlighted their significance. The Yatra garnered widespread participation from the public, PRIs, notable citizens, and officials across different departments. Adding vibrancy to the event, a lively cultural program entertained the audience, earning appreciation, and certificates were distributed to students who partook in the quiz competition.
