VBSY progresses across 11 blocks of Ramban with huge public response
RAMBAN, JANUARY 02: Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra today extended its reach to various parts of blocks Banihal including Panchayat Tethar Lower, Takia Tethar and ward no. 2 in Ramban town.
On the occasion, the Hon’ble Prime Minister’s message was broadcasted through IEC vans to the general public at designated spots to raise awareness about diverse welfare schemes, encouraging active participation in the spirit of “Jan Bhagidari” to achieve 100% saturation.
Traversing 11 diverse blocks and various wards of 3 Municipalities of the district under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner, Ramban, Baseer- Ul-Haq Chaudhary, the Yatra presented a picture of empowerment and community engagement, fostering a collective vision for national development
In District Ramban, Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra camps transformed into vibrant hubs pulsating with activity as people enthusiastically engaged in events and availed themselves of on-the-spot services.
A huge number of people were checked by the doctors for TB, sickle cell anemia, and non-communicable diseases during health camps held in various panchayats. Meanwhile, Agriculture and allied departments involved farmers through a comprehensive outreach, encompassing enlightening drone demonstrations and in-depth Soil Health Card demonstrations.
In the majority of Panchayats, the Yatra transcends mere awareness, featuring interactive sessions spotlighting technological advancements in agriculture and nutritional awareness led by Poshan (ICDS) officials. Furthermore, the Yatra provides access to free healthcare services under Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana, with beneficiaries sharing their positive experiences through the ‘Mari Kahaani Meri Zubaani’ initiative, adding a personal touch to the Yatra’s profound impact.
